POSTPONED: Benefit for Chicago

In March, we rescheduled the TMBTB benefit show for June 5, but that is obviously not in the cards. We were overly confident, sorry!
We fully intend to play this show, but it seems like we’d repeat the same mistake if we announced another date, so we’re in a holding pattern that is no doubt familiar to everyone by now. If anyone wants to get a refund, we completely understand, please let us know!
Chicago’s very own Talking Heads tribute This Must be the Band is once again coming out of retirement to play one show to raise funds and awareness. In the past, they’ve raised for Puerto Rico and Yemen, but many fans rightly pointed out that our home needs help as well.

We would like to focus on how segregation and mass incarceration negatively affect every citizen of this beautiful town. A couple charities we’ve decided on so far:

Chicago Community Bond Fund helps people who need bond money to get out of jail and is working to end cash bail for non-violent offenders.

Growing Home helps people who just got out of jail to learn some farming skills.

Neighborspace supports community gardens in areas that need them most.
